The Training Years: Learning the Craft Properly
I didn't stumble into the world of wigs. I trained for it. Before going solo, I spent five years as a professional hair colourist and stylist, learning the craft from the ground up — the science of colour, the art of cut, the patience that precision demands.
Those years were invaluable. I learned that great hair — whether it grows from your scalp or is lovingly handcrafted — requires skill, attention to detail, and a genuine understanding of what the person wearing it needs. Not just aesthetically, but emotionally.
Because hair is personal. It always has been.
The Moment Everything Clicked
During my training and early career, I kept coming back to wigs. There was something about them that fascinated me — the transformative power, the craftsmanship involved, and honestly, the gap in the market for wigs that were truly made with care.
The wig industry has a trust problem. Scroll through social media and you'll find endless sites selling mass-produced pieces that look nothing like the photos. I knew I could do better. So I did.
